I’ve had the white rice Salmon Avocado Roll from the Zenshi counter at Fortinos Oakville Lakeshore a few times before. Noticed they now have a brown rice version, so I gave it a try today and it was surprisingly good. The brown rice adds a nice texture and flavor. Glad they added this option.
Considerably less portion of meat for the dinners as compared to other Pane Fresco Fortinos. For the price, it's not worth it. Area set up is not the greatest in terms of getting people taken care of efficiently, sandwich soup and carvery stations all together funneling to one cashier, long wait times. Wouldn't go again or recommend.
I enjoy the food, service, and atmosphere at firtinos. Nice staff, great Cafe with Mary and Charlotte, delicious sandwiches, pizza and all within the convenience if shopping for food, wine and obtaining health services at the pharmacy, picking up flowers, or dry cleaning. All under one roof. The Pane Fresco is my favorite 😍
