I was at first excited to try a different form of therapy other than talking. However, my experience with the therapist left me feeling as if I was reliving my trauma. He lacked so much empathy and would so very often used my abuse against me. He had difficulties seeing me as a victim instead he would tell me I put myself in the situation and if I did not agree with his theory, he made me feel worse. Alex and his team has been the best group of therapists that I’ve ever met in a long time. They will make sure that they take their time listening and making sure that they are doing everything they can to address your concerns. I have never had the same treatment from anyone ever.
