You want Cantonese food with the authentic sevice? You want Hong Kong milk teas? You got this place that will do both. They do it all. If this is in your backyard consider yourself lucky. The owner is also a fan of Chow Yun-Fat. You cannot get any more authentic than that. Just pure wholesome goodness.

This is for the now retired Hai Thai restaurant. This may be the most flavor filled Thai food in Whitby / Oshawa. Every dish that I have tried was very tasty and fresh. Knowing the food is cooked fresh and tastes as good as it does keeps me coming back often. The lunch special is a super deal with the soup and spring roll included with the main course. I've eaten here a few times, everything tasted good. The prices seem high for some particular dishes that don't really offer much. I ordered something that was essentially beef and veg on rice, with a green sauce. It was good, but hardly any beef or vegetables.
