Peter is the worst landlord possible when you are leaving the property otherwise he will be the best person in the world. Really rude and unprofessional. Also will take money to repair there already damaged property. Extremely frustrating and pathetic.
The same thing happened to me as well. Don't rent if your are an international student. They would take advantage of you not knowing much rules and would keep taking money from you to maintain and repair their already damaged property.
Peter Bubel of Pana Rentals probably does well for the property owners because he diverts the rental deposits from tenants to maintain the properties he manages. In my experience, rental deposits are used to cover property damage, late fees or unpaid rent. Peter was friendly enough when he wanted to rent a unit. But when asked why the full deposit was not returned, he essentially said, “it is what it is” and hung up the telephone. Talk about both rude and unprofessional.
