Dr Poff saved my life. I was in a long abusive relationship and I went to her to help me get out of it and to learn to stop repeating my patterns. She tells you straight up what you need hear. She puts things in to perspective where you can actually see what you need to change or work on. You have to do the work if you're serious about getting better. I visited her for years and she helped me work through mainly my anxiety and irrational thoughts using CBT. An immense difference. If you’re looking for simple talk therapy, this is not her style. Poff takes an active role in therapy and gave me tools to manage my issues better. It took a lot of practice, but I got there eventually. I’d highly recommend her to anyone else.
This women is the most cold hearted person I've ever met. I came into her office telling her I was struggling with suicidal depression she never let me finish talking about why I am the way that I am she just called the hospital and immediately sent me away I didn't even Finnish my appointment.
