I’m just posting this to balance the negative review. It’s standard practice to charge a late fee. That fee is usually what one would pay if they paid out f pocket for a session bc the therapist can’t bill insurance for the session. I know a psychiatrist who charged 2x that amount. Hurtful comments can deeply impact any small business. Be a better human. Call n clear it up w the business next time instead f posting something potentially harmful.
Read through as it’s NOT based on her advice/counseling (since I didn’t receive any), but based on first contact. I late cancelled the very first appointment which is my fault. I expected a fee for late cancel and immediately asked her how much. Heads up that it’s $130! Appointments are Zoom only right now. Insurance doesn’t cover cancels so it’s straight out of pocket. Zoom makes me extremely uncomfortable for counseling and I couldn’t do it personally. Money was already a concern but would have been worth it for a real app... read more
