It took 6 weeks for dr dorne to get back to me. once she finally called, she was very rude over the phone and got defensive when I asked questions. She did not apologize about getting back to me 6 weeks later and just kept giving excuses. She told me that I had really no options for my care and said I needed to make a decision. She said she could not guide me or recommend any options for me. I have never experienced a doctor so unhelpful and rude.
After seeing an independent clinic who after scheduling me with a midwife who consulted with two Ob Gyne & then having to transfer my care to an AdventHealth specialist in order to if I needed an OR not go to Advocate because I do not trust the doctor or staff at Downers Grove hospital, I had gotten two modes of advice and was was nearly driving myself to the ground with irregular bleeding. I’ve been her patient for 30 years. She is the best and an expert in her field. She is direct. She speaks facts, as she should, and I’ve found her to be professional, trustworthy and empathetic in doing so. Thank you, Dr. Dorne.

Apologies in advance for the long review but I feel any woman who plans on seeing Dr. Dorne needs to be warned. She has to be one of the WORST doctors I have ever seen. To begin with, her indifference and lack of warmth or caring is astounding. Dr. Dorne was my first Gyne and was my sister's as well. She USED to care about her patients, but this was over 30 years ago. I returned to her just recently in hopes of receceiving the great care she used to give..BIG MISTAKE.
