Pamela Vandel took $3,000 from us on June 19, 2016 and did absolutely nothing! I filed a complaint with the Office of Professional Regulation in August and in my opinion that was a complete waste of time! This woman needs to be stopped and punished! She is stealing money from Iowans, is that not a crime?!?!? I asked Pam Vandel to return my money several times and still no refund. Pamela Vandell asked my disabled mother in law for $10,000 cash upfront to represent her. She did NOTHING, billed my mother on law for services NEVER performed and asked for more money. My husband and I had to step in and discontinue their contract. She not only never returned the balance of the $10,000, but continued to send bills for YEARS, even threatening to SUE for unpaid services. This woman is a sleazy crook of the worst kind!

A total disappointment! Stay away from her she takes money and does absolutely nothing for you. If you do choose her expect no communication except pointless emails drunk late night phone calls and no way to get any help because she is a "professor" and does not need a license to "practice" law! You have been warned.

I would give her ZERO stars. She only takes cash and then doesn't provide monthly statements. She showed up 5 minutes before my court appearance, then sat there when she should have been defending me!! She is a horrible excuse of am "attorney". She stole my money. I ended up firing her and self representing. I don't understand how she can still practice law in this state!
