My loved one was in the PAM Specialty Hospital of Shreveport for two weeks and was just discharged. I've never seen such excellent care in a hospital/medical facility. All departments went out of their way to provide treatment and comfort. She kept saying, "They treat me like a queen." I believe they saved her life.
My dad was in the hospital following Covid/CHF. Nurses and staff were amazing. They are compassionate, caring people.
My mom was admitted to PAM Specialty for acute respiratory failure. I am so grateful for the respiratory staff there, they were freaking AMAZING!!!! They made sure my mom was able to regain her ability to breath again all on her own. I didn’t understand the concept of everything at first and how we were going to get her lungs strong however the Respiratory staff was great at answering any questions I had. This is an incomplete review as my family member is presently admitted to this facility. My family member is a fall risk and I was told to call for assistance when she needed to transfer from the bed to the toilet chair. I pressed the call button for assistance, it was answered and i was told help was coming. After 20+ minutes with no assistance, I called again. My family member had become extremely uncomfortable and needed to transfer to the toilet chair. I finally went into the hallway, and asked an employee for assistance... read more
