One of the biggest reason I like going here was I would meet with a dietitian when I got here so we could go through the menus and see what I can eat as I have food allergies. No one met me when I got here. First meal came had 3 ingredients on the plate I couldn't have. The nurse knew my allergies but the kitchen wasn't. The alternative was a small 5 bit garden salad. Extremely disappointed with the lack of care my husband received. He arrived on August 15, 2026 and was transported back to Aspirus ED on August 21. 2026. His t-shirt was only changed ONCE in all that time. On 8/19 I complained that: he was NOT helped into the sit/stand to use the bathroom; he didn't have his compression socks on and his legs were HUGE; the floor had specks of his tiny bandages going from his left side of bed to the sink; there was a quarter size drop of blood on the floor on the right side of his bed and he... read more

My impressions in general were quite good, and I am satisfied with the care I received. The nurses were great, especially the third shift nurses; they were very understanding and compassionate. One of the doctors was always in a hurry and kind of "poo-pooed" some of the things that the nurses mentioned to me, but that's about it. Again, I was very happy with my stay, and it was instrumental in beginning my recovery.
