I have been going to Dr Jessen for over a year now and I have to say I am so grateful to her for the knowledge she has. As a Parkinsons patient I belong to a group of Parkinson's patients that share different ideas and information that we receive and the most common thing I hear is how none of the other people have doctors that will take the time to answer questions. You, and many others in this broken medical system, prolonged my suffering of autoimmune encephalitis in countless ways. Dr Jessen is a disappointment to have as a provider in our community. Carissa and Nurse Stephanie are in the right profession, they seemed skilled in working with patients going through some uncertainty in their lives. However, Dr Jessen should probably retire or let someone else step up in this much needed resource. Dr Jessen's people skills are lacking. If you are looking for quality neurological care on the Palouse, this is unfortunately not the place for you. In fact, what I received was not even acceptable. Dr. Jessen had a cold, dismissive, and assumptive demeanor directly at the outset of the appointment. Not only were my medical history and pre-visit paperwork ignored, but so were the concerns that I directly expressed to her throughout the appointment.
