We moved my father-in-law in several months ago after nearly a year of physician and cognitive decline. Understandably, he didn't want to leave his home, but after a stroke, Assisted Living was our best option. As a nurse, the first thing that struck me was how clean (and fresh smelling!) Palos Verdes is. He's been there several months, and, like many others as they age, can be a bit of a challenge. I do not recommend this place at all. Higher management treats their employees like garbage and truly don’t care about the residents which is why they raised the rent by $1000 this year. In the last 2 years they have gone through 2 Executive Directors and currently have an acting ED who is an ED at a sister community. For 2 months they were not licensed at all. If I could give this 0 stars I would.

Vonda is the new Director over at Palos Verdes senior living in Peoria, Az. I can honestly tell you that I research until the cows come home until I can find the best of the best to place a loved one in. It was literally her second day and I was so impressed by her genuineness, her personable personality, her kindness and honesty. My mom had only lived here a week before she was being taken by cancer. Everyone here was loving & took great care of her. The medical staff & assistants really care. I'm glad she spent her final days here with loving care. I can't stress enough how great all of the staff is here. Especially in your time of need. Shout out to Christian, Maria and Nancy who kept her out of pain.
