I absolutely DO NOT understand why homeowners who take care of their homes have to be inspected and pay fees while other homes are in complete rundown condition and they are not told to paint or fix their fences. It seems backwards to me. You have seen those rundown houses. They are blight on all of our property values, yet if you want to repaint your exterior, pay the high prices for new windows and doors, you have to get the runaround of the art jury. This is a very unfair system.
Homeowners are poorly treated. We deserve better.
