Awful business. No communication. Lies is a conman. I had a contract for a $25,000 job. I paid him $21,000 and he did not perform $11,700 of work. He starts out great, enthusiastic, charming, charismatic. Then he quickly demands money. Like every two to 3 days. Then it all changed. I received a text on December 30th saying he would not be back to finish. Major problems occurred before this. He wasn’t showing up to work, not responding to text or calls. It was a disaster. I’m taking him to court. Run away from this guy

I haven’t had to report a business to anywhere before but I am looking into it. I contracted Palos Landscaping to do a patio extension on a previous patio they installed. They were difficult to schedule with. They cancelled. They set a day and time to which they were late. They did not install base rock or compact the soil as listed in the contract. Horrible, horrible company. Seemed like a decent guy when getting the quote, but after the work start I realized they cut corners, did not complete the services guaranteed to me as stated during initial bid, extremely unprofessional, communication and responsiveness lacked tremendously, disrepectful, added items to yard without me knowing it was additional costs then threatened and harrased me and my husband in middle of the night that I pay the additional money charged, although I paid what was agreed upon. Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Responsiveness John Palos, sent me a quote and I gave him more than 20 % down, Need to reschedule do to weather related and after that everything went down to hell in trying to reschedule or just simple don't show up. I end it up in cancel his services, I requested many, many times the refund of the down payment and not luck either, John constantly having the excuse "I am to busy, I am working 7 days a week or his bank would not let him to transfer the money to my bank". Crook of a company! Does not pull permits, lies about everything and does not follow through. Do not let them do concrete work for you!!! If you write a bad review they will attack you on social media. Don't take a chance on this guy!

We agreed to a price for Christmas light installation. He told me the job would be complete the same day. His team started but did not finish; they weren’t even close to finishing and the plan was always to finish on another day, but John never explained until I questioned. I believe they did this just to keep me from going to another vendor. Said they would come back the next day but did not. Told me they would start again at 8am the next morning.
