About this business

Located inside the City Centre building, this elegant bistro has rose-colored blown glass covering its walls and ceiling. Patrons dine in the sometimes noisy lounge or get a quick meal in the cafe area. The area across the escalator is better suited to formal lunches and dinners. The specialty is wood-oven roasting. The menu offers lamb shank, paella and oven-roasted jumbo prawns. Also try the gourmet pizzas or a Chop Chop Salad. For dessert enjoy traditional tiramisu, white chocolate ice cream or pear bread pudding.

amazing food so-so service – this place is awsome. the pizzas are over-the-top if you love this curst like I do. Perfect for a nice lunch or dinner.

fantastic happy hour – This is a great happy hour place with good beer and cheap food, the brick oven pizza selections are a specialty and the seafood is fresh and elegantly presented. It can get pretty crowded on Thursdays and Fridays but the food is great and the service is quick if you can find a place to sit.

OVERRATED – Why did I listen to the reviews? I think the review that had the comparison to "safeway frozen section" and the who thought palominos was better than a costco hotdog nailed it. Knocking out the lights in the freezer section of safeway would provide just as much atmosphere as Palominos (not really, but there are much much better places in the city to go to - spend the extra and go someplace nice is what I would recommend.) This restaurant lacks everything except location and bores me with the menu.

one of best happy hrs in seattle – This is one of the best happy hrs in Seattle and it's twice a day, everyday including weekends. The setting is inside an upscale shopping center so it can be a little loud during busy time due to open air setting (sound bounces off walls and ceiling). So if you are looking for something romantic, quiet, etc this is not the place. But if you want to enjoy good food at very reasonable price, relax with friends, this is a good place.

This place has the best happy hour ever - and they have it twice a day! Comfy chairs, good service, cheap food that tastes fantastic...can't beat it.

Nothing Special – On several different occasions throughout the year I've dined at Palomino's. Everytime I've set my expectations too high. For the prices of meals I expect to get decent food with good service and a comfortable atmosphere. I seem to only come out with decent food. As others have mentioned, this definitely has that open-air mall atmosphere and is not intimate in the least. The hostess was terribly rude and made us wait despite having a reservation though she offered us the option to grab a table in the "cafe"... read more

Glamour served to downtown shoppers, bearing luscious desserts and excellent cocktails. – The Scene Long, narrow and overlooking the City Center shopping mall, the dining room manages to combine dim lighting with an airy, open feeling. Ornately modern glass lighting, large, bright paintings and comfortable, if crowded, tables create a setting that works best for friends, rather than a romantic evening. Servers aim to please; let them know if you're rushing to a show. The Food Start with the crispy waffle-cut fries drizzled w... read more

delightful place – excellent food, value, service, convenient for theater goers, but you don't have to dress up to enjoy. I loved their butternut squash ravioli, but everything is good. we love to take guests here

Pleasantly reliable, not unique. – Palomino is "pleasantly reliable." The food is good but won't blow your mind. The service is friendly but not memorable. The atmosphere... OK, atmosphere is not one of Palominos selling points. This is a respectable place to go downtown when coming up with something more unique seems like too much trouble. The fairly sizeable menu includes pizza, pastas, and an impressive selection of generally Northwestern preparations of meat, poultry, and seafood. Recently, I've found the spit-roasted ch... read more
