I’m a diabetic and didn’t come in with any mental issues, they gave me medicine to go to sleep for seven hours and when I woke up, my blood sugar was about 364, they kept refusing to give me enough Insulin keeping me in DKA, causing all my bones to ache and muscles, they even put food in front of me and offered a tiny amount of insulin so I couldn’t eat the meal and they wouldn’t give me the insulin, I left the unit with a blood sugar of 386 and took my own Insulin in the lobby as a nurse pointed me towards my hospital order... read more
Ew this place sounds nasty and unsafe, reading all the reviews. They should shut this place down. I was here years ago but I dont remember anything good or bad. Just remember not liking the bed/couch set up.
Mobile crisis unit sent a loved one to this place. She was having an intense paranoid episode. Next morning they sent her home claiming they only kept people for 24hrs. We explained that she needed more care, they claimed she was better than the night before. She wasn’t! Later that night at home she took all her meds because her voices told her to and she had to be ambulanced to the ER in the middle of the night. Still waiting to hear if she’s ok. Don’t send your loved ones or anyone here if you care about them!
This place should honestly be given a ZERO STARS. You are telling me this is a place where people go who are struggling mentally and you just DONT GIVE THEM THEIR MEDS?! How is this not malpractice, how is this place allowed to be open?! This place is a disgrace and should not used at all.
