Our family had a positive experience with Palomar Hospice during a difficult time. When we had questions or concerns about my father-in-law’s condition, particularly after hours, Nurse Naz was consistently responsive, calm, and professional. She explained the end-of-life process clearly and in non-medical terms, which was very helpful to our family. My recent experience with Palomar Hospice was painful. The visiting nurses Teresa and Joey where great. However near end of life of my mother, a very rude and insensitive nurse declared my mother deceased by shouting " Shes gone !" This was so insensitive. She could have been more delicate and professional about it. On top of this, she got on her speaker phone to make arrangements for the pick up of my mother . Palomar Hospice has been awesome. Ashley is the very best coordinator and Naz is an amazing nurse that is providing much help during a very stressful time. She is professional and experienced and she takes the time to explain things that are confusing. We are very grateful for her help! I highly recommend Palomar Hospice.
Jill Paulson has been a game changer for us. My cousin, Cheryl Riedel, has been in and out of hospitals and acute care facilities since the end of May. Since Jill got involved with Cheryl's care things have been much smoother, particularly communication with the family. We are in Colorado and Wyoming so managing this from long distance has been challenging. Jill brings professionalism and personal caring to the table. She is a KEEPER. .
