I've been learning/practicing yoga at home for about a year or two and finally decided a few weeks ago to take the plunge and do my first in person yoga class. I was nervous but was so happy with how my first class went. I took the Bahkti flow on a Sunday morning with Aria and the class was energentic and invigorating. As a Mysore student at Palo Santo, I've had an amazing experience working with Meghan and Aria. They are both incredibly kind and knowledgeable Ashtanga teachers who offer lots of hands-on adjustments, cues, and verbal encouragement while creating a supportive environment for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. Highly recommend!
Palo Santo offers a warm and inviting space to practice yoga. Dave Hem's Saturday classes are fun and welcoming to all. I also enjoy the selection of workshops - I particularly appreciated the cacao ceremony held in February 2023. It is a great way to explore the roots of yoga and deepen your practice. The drop in pricing and discounted community classes are affordable as well. It is a convenient walk to the BSL subway.
