Best State Park around. It has everything anyone could ask for: nature, beauty, camping, cookouts, water holes/crossings, hiking, biking, horse riding, and even zip lining.

There is no place more beautiful. When you drive off the rim of the canyon to the bottom of the canyon it's breath taking. Loved every minute in Palo Duro Canyon. Omajean Lewis

Palo Duro Canyon is absolutely gorgeous! Our family recently tent camped here and unfortunately, were not happy with the campgrounds. The grounds were littered with trash, not maintained, and the dumpsters and port-o-potties were broken and looked/smelled like they had not been emptied in weeks. When we did travel to use the bathrooms in the RV campgrounds, we found that they were invested with spiders - and I do mean invested. I would love to return and try a cabin but will not return for tent camping. Heads up campers.
