6/14/26: Tried reaching advice nurse calling the PALO Alto VA, when I press 0 for operator, she keeps hanging up on me. I have a medical concern for my health and she deliberately hang up on me. I’ve called last at 0940 hrs. Ia that VA treat combat veterans who may have an emergency?
Cataract surgery done by a novice has left me with vision that is distorted, cross eyed, blurred, causing loss of depth perception, vertigo, and generally unacceptable vision. I had a procedure done there. Amazing from start to finish. They did a video appointment with me to go over every detail allowed me to ask questions with all questions answered. After the procedure the nurses we the best, kind great bedside manner. Under the circumstances, it was a pleasant experience.
Been here 7 months with amazing, outstanding professional help and great care from doctors, nurses and cna's as I get closer to my exit date for home
