I honestly believe this to be the best fried chicken in the USA! Staff is fast and friendly, Great charm and great value. My go to diner when I am in Port Huron.
If you are in Port Huron you have to try it. Don’t be fooled by the exterior just go in. The mushroom soup is wonderful and the chicken is always freshly cooked. The staff is super nice. I don’t eat French fries and my waitress was quick to offer up other selections. I will definitely visit again.
We always get great food and service. Highly recommend going for lunch or dinner and try the Pickerel.
My husband and I dine here at least once a week. The new owner has made subtle changes that have brought new items to the menu. As for the previous menu, anything ordered is just as it was, if not better!!! The servers are prompt and courteous. Either Jim or his son-in-law Joe are always present. It runs like a well oiled machine. If there is a concern with an order, communication with the server will correct issue. We have our favorites, Susie, Sara, Kara and Taylor. Keep up the great work!!!!!

The staff of this bar was great! The owner moved another family to accommodate us with my son’s wheelchair. Considering it was our 23rd wedding anniversary, which they didn’t know, it touched us deeply. The food was wonderful. Thank you for making these out of towners feel welcomed!
