Welcome to the Palms Grill Café... It's not only the sound of the 1930s-40s music playing in the background... It's not only the smell of the delicious, home-cooked, daily Blue Plate special wafting out from the kitchen... It's not even the taste of that first forkful of made-from-scratch coconut cream pie (...and all the other great pies, too!). It's when everything you've been hearing, seeing, feeling, smelling, and tasting combine that you realize you're living the Mother Road the way it used to be. Join us to expe... read more

Darling step back in time! On a tiny main street in a tiny town, this little cafe was definitely worth the stop. Having been there once before, we couldn’t quite remember the name, but thankfully there is a great photo opportunity across the street that one of us remembered: a Paul Bunyan statue; after that it was easy to find. We enjoyed the great sandwiches and the PIE! While we were waiting for our order our waitress encouraged us to go look at the connected Atlanta Museum. We walked right through the restaurant and into ... read more
Always good food and friendly staff!
Good reasonably priced food. The chicken was amazingly tender and juicy, I suspect it was brined a tad salty but I’ll try it again! Horseshoes with Gouda is genus. Looking forward to trying pie next time I go.

Amazing food friendly people best restaurant in Atlanta
Happened to be passing through the area & wanted to try a small local place for dinner. Best choice ever! Super friendly staff that was happy to give suggestions. Food was homemade and amazing! Really great attention to detail in the food! We had the Fresco melts with fries and Grilled chicken wrap with chips (try the chipotle sauce on the side! Amazing!) Highly recommended if in the area! Will make this a regular spot when we are passing through!
We stopped here on our route 66 road trip, the Ruben sandwich was by far the best one we had along the whole route, (wish we could have got this along the rest of the route ;) ) We also had the potato soup (which was lovely, thick and creamy). Would highly recommend this place for fantastic food and friendly staff.
Had a fried bologna sandwich, chili and pie! All homemade and yummy! There's a museum upstairs that's worth a visit too! The people at Palms were very very nice! We will be back!
