On our anniversary weekend my husband and I had reservations for brunch. When we were seated we were brought to a very small table — a “two top” that was so low my tall husband could not get his legs under the table. Honestly it was a low cocktail table. We approached the hostess and asked to switch to another suitable table. She responded “that’s all we have.” We would have waited for another table to open up but she did not offer us any options. We walked out. Very disappointing.
Beautiful setting when dining outside on the patio. Food was delicious. We ordered the crab cakes and the did not skimp on the crabmeat. For our entree, my husband ordered the ribeye and I tried the seafood pot pie. Both were excellent. Will go back again.
My husband and I had our wedding at Palmettos on March 24th and it was the most incredible day of our lives! That's thanks in part to the beautiful weather and venue but mostly because Brittany (the event coordinator) worked her tail off to make sure our day was perfect. If you're looking for a place to have a wedding or any special occasion for that matter, look no further than Palmettos on the Bayou!
Attended a wedding there it was fantastic and Britney deserves a raise!! She went over and beyond!
