We engaged Mr. Catoe from PALMETTO STATE TITLE & ESCROW, LLC as our property closing attorney in July 2023. Unfortunately, we were misled into believing that the property closing had been completed. However, in April 2024, we received a letter from the property seller indicating that the county had issued a property tax delinquency notice plus over $700 in penalties. I bought a home with cash and this company conveyed the title of my property to someone else! Upon discovering the error and contacting this company, I was told that the error wasn't that big of a deal. It took a week and many phone calls and I'm STILL waiting to have my records corrected. I wouldn't recommend anyone allow this company to handle their closing. My experience has been horrible.
