RecommendedMy 7 year old daughter has gone to as many events as we are able to attend in the last 3 years. She is on her second year of horseback riding lessons. She has attended horseback riding camp, spring break farm camp, pony rides, homeschool chicken classes, art classes, and probably others!! Not only has she learned about horses, she's learned work ethic and has gained lots of confidence. Leighton is an incredible teacher and works hard. I recommend you try as many of her events as you can. Such a treasure to the CSRA!

The unicorn tea party was absolutely wonderful! My daughter will be talking about it for a very long time. So much thought was put into the decorations and planning to make it a wonderful experience for the girls. I would do more events here in the future.
Leighton is a phenomenal teacher and friend to all of her students, parents, and patrons of her events. She is the hardest working lady I know. Her dedication to her students and farm/stable is unrivaled. We take lessons and board with her at Palmetto and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
The pony ride events could be better managed. We had to wait in line a LONG time because there was only ONE pony and 20+ kids in line within 30 mins of opening. My kids (6 & 4) were restless and frustrated having to wait so long to ride, and there wasn’t really much for them to do while waiting. I am sure the Palmetto Farms folks are lovely people, but I don’t think I would come back for the pony rides. Long waits, and not enough to do—and nowhere to sit— during the wait for young kids (which is who the pony rides are for). ... read more
Great place and all the horses well taken care of. The owners are an amazing family. Could not be happier having my horses there and knowing when I can’t be there my horses are well taken care of and loved! 👍🏼😊
Cannot say enough about Palmetto Stables! My boys had such a great time with the pony rides, and loved every second of being there! Thank you for allowing us to come in and enjoy your little corner of heaven!
Knowledgeable owner...caring and patient!! I know her personally and know how caring she is about the children and horses!!
Very patient with children with a heart of gold. Soon my whole gang of 4 girls will be in training. Sooo excited! not to mention prices are great with how much they learn while there.
