Absolutely appalling experience – stay away! I must share my experience with this office and warn new and current patients. I have been with this office for the past 8 years and I am a healthy individual. I recently requested medication, and it was required to have a prior authorization which has taken longer than it should. I contacted the office multiple times with no response, which is irresponsible. I previously worked in a doctor office so I’m an expert with the process. Thought I had broken my ankle. Skip was an amazing registered nurse. He was literally smarter than most people, and explained to us you never allow anyone to put their arms around your neck. I told him EMS always did. Had me do that, & even many of the rehab. He said unfortunately they will probably end their careers with a serious injury. He was a great help, getting me out and back in my daughter's huge truck. He had a smart, friendly, and was clearly knowledgble about his jo.

I have to admit that I have not always had a good experience at this location but today was great. My mother is in a wheelchair and I had to pick her up in my work truck due to her having an accident at home. I am not trained or really able to assist her. Today when I arrived I asked for help getting her inside. The RN Skip came out and helped us. He was able to keep me and my mother calm and made the task seem easy. He also had a great attitude. Terrible in every way! All the complaints are spot on! The office staff is terrible. He has terrible bedside manner. Made me wait for an hour when I had an appt. Short tempered and doesn’t listen. Pushes Flonase for every scenario. The billing is on the verge of predatory. 0/5 would not recommend.

Watch those codes. Dr. Avril likes to “get paid for his time.” $266 was not enough for a basic wellness visit that only lasted 30 minutes. He had to add extra code for obesity counseling (6’0” 220 pounds). And that wasn’t the only extra code I got. He will not warn you and anything else you talk about WILL get extra coding and you will be charged. The office in general is poorly run. You can and will find a better place.

Since we found this provider, we have never had a good experience. Even seeing a couple of different ones. The front office staff is rude, cannot answer basic questions but has the audacity to hang up when someone is upset that they cannot answer basic questions. Had the office manager contact me to say, "yes they record calls" but her employee told her I was rude. Ma'am - did you listen to the call? I had the single most horrible experience with him yesterday. As a two time cancer survivor and heart patient, I have had my fair share of doctors, nurses, radiologists and various hospital/doctor office personnel - good and bad. He takes the cake! He was rude, callous, tactless and devoid of empathy. He was over an hour late with no apology or acknowledgement. I don’t know what to say. I went to get checked out because I’ve developed what I’m pretty sure is bronchitis.or possibly walking pneumonia ...I’ve had it so many times before. ( I didn’t tell her that) I was told to go wait outside and someone would call me.
