I cancelled my reservation months in advanced and never received my deposit back. The owner has cited that they are waiting on insurance to refund the money. I find it egregious to take full deposit and be unable to pay it back.
What a wonderful little place!!! Very clean & quiet! The villa we stayed in was just a studio but plenty of room for the 4 of us! We enjoyed fishing off the docks & swimming in the nice clean heated pool! The grounds around the place were very nice and clean also! We definitely plan to be back in July to stay in the 5 bedroom house!!

My husband and I needed a place for two nights while we visited family in Ruskin. None of the reviews for the nearby hotels, including national chain hotels, came close to the reviews for Pirates Pointe. It was absolutely perfect and a great ending to our vacation. Pirate's Pointe Resort was the perfect location for us while visiting family nearby! This cozy bungalow felt very "Florida" in the best way, bright colors and beautiful lush landscaping. We also really enjoyed being able to walk out on the dock to view the beautiful surrounding areas on the water. Owners Tammie and Tom go above and beyond in making sure your stay is comfortable and even made an effort to check in with us during our stay.
