Palmetto hospital the worse hospital to go to!! You call operator, they transfer you to the nurses station on whatever floor you need, the nurses station answer, put the phone down and you wait for 30 minutes before you can speak to the nurse that’s attending to your loved one, that’s if you don’t get disconnected and have to start from the beginning again! Now my mother fell and split her head and the ambulance took her to Palmetto they would not take her anywhere else because it was protocol, she has been getting worse by the day, I have to wait for her to stabilize so I can take her to a real hospital, they have given her wrong meds and not given her any off her regular meds the pcp at the hospital took me aside and told me that I should consider hospice because the cancer she had 19 yrs ago was back and had spread all over, he has no bedside manners it was as if he was spea... read more
I have been going to this hospital before I read these reviews, I have bee to this place so many times I've lost track and every time they would do the same a ct scan and blood work, which would come back negatively would be given morphine or dilauded very time, after several visits I was treated as if my symptoms were psychosomatic I was even told by Dr.Jay(as he is referred to by his co workers) he would not treat me to enjoy my pain this was unreal.
