General dentist referred son for root canal. I asked billing personnel AND receptionist to verify that endodontist was an in network provider with my insurance, and to provide an estimate of my out of pocket expenses for treatment. Found out when I arrived at the office on the morning of the appt that endodontist was not in network, and root canal would be more than $800. This "initial" $80 appt was a total waste of my time and money. Had the billing department and receptionist done their job...like most dental offices do...... read more
