I had sudden sensorineural hearing loss in my left ear. I went to Dr. Thompson for a second opinion because my original ENT had given up hope of me regaining my hearing (which I understand, as there's not much that can be done). Dr. Thompson didn't give up on my hearing. He prescribed more meds and was even willing to do injections to salvage my hearing if the medications didn't work. Luckily, I went from moderate-severe hearing loss to mild and didn't necessarily need the injections. He did a thorough job. Highly recommend.
Tab Thompson couldn't even get my age correct and kept referring to me as 41 years old. I am 39. He refused to do a tonsillectomy on me even though it's been highly advised by medical profs for decades. He was brash, impatient, and demeaning towards me. To make matters worse, he squeezed on my throat remarking "that's tender " only to have me leave his office without any resolution. The next day I was back in urgent care with inflamed tonsils.
NOT A DOCTOR FOR A CHILD. BE CAREFUL. Staff awful. Don't ignore those reviews, hate I did. Very uncompassionate doctor. Maybe ok for an adult, absolutely do not take your child. My child is big (not overweight) and tall for their age, so I think it's easy to forget. They've had a very bad experience with an in office procedure done with another doc that Dr. Thompson was going to perform, so they were naturally terrified.
