The best hardware and plumbing supply store you can find. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. Unlike Home Depot and Lowes, where they run away when you have a question, they are more than happy to answer any question and addresss any problem.
Been there many times while helping Pa in St. Pete. This is what an old time hardware store is supposed to be. People that know their business and how to get it fixed without replacing the whole thing. That's all the big box stores know.
I love this place. I had to fix some plumbing in my bathroom, after about 20 trips to Home Depot, and it not getting fixed by what they said would fix it, I went to Palmers, they knew right away and within 10 minutes I was in and out of there, with a fixed bathroom. Who cares if they are a smaller location, I think it is great they are around, the "mom & pop" places are better than the bigger stores I think.
