He was the best. Not sure what I will do. It is going to be so hard as it won't be easy to fill his shoes. Not sure it can be done. I am so sad. Marty S Stankus
He and his PA looked at my records and saw that previous docs had diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. I knew it was more so was going to him for another opinion. The first opinions were from doctors that he was friends with so he and PA decided to heavily encourage me to “accept my diagnosis” of fibromyalgia and refused to take a further look. I think the PA began to have second thoughts after a physical exam but she didn’t want to ruffle any feathers. This after she spent a CONSIDERABLE amount of time calling me a “type A perso... read more
Never again, what a terrible experience all he did was complain about our cheap insurance because he couldn't prescribe infusion drugs. Greed from kickbacks from big farmacutical companies have ruined this Dr.
I have gone to Dr Palmer for over 40 years. I worked in the healthcare field for 45 years & have always trusted his advice & opinions. Dr Palmer diagnosed my lupus, RA, ITP (low platelets), osteoarthritis & osteoporosis. He’s kind, compassionate & listens to what you have to say. All of his staff is friendly & helpful.
Best rheumatologist I have ever had. Friendliest doctor office to visit!
Very unprofessional, stormed out of the room during the appt and misdiagnosed the patient. He decided on a diagnosis before he ever entered the room and laid eyes on the patient. Berates other providers, their credentials, and their medical skills. Would never see this doctor again or recommend.
They were quick to diagnose me and start me on an antidepressant that is also used for pain. The PA told me the only thing with it was that some people had a teeny bit of a problem when they try to stop this med. I should have researched this medicine before I tried it, so that's on me. After several months, the med was not helping at all, and my symptoms were worse than ever. I was given a schedule to taper off of the medicine, which was absolute hell on earth. When I called to say I was having a bad time, I was told to sto... read more
I saw Dr. Palmer in 1999, and he was able to finally diagnose my illness as mixed connective tussue disease. He and I locked horns on my first visit as I told him I didn’t have fibromyalgia. He got a but snippy, and gave me a booklet to read., for twenty minutes. After numerous blood tests, when I returned, he told me I was right. Not fibromyalgia. We seemed to form a really good relationship, and I was sad when I had to move to GA. I respect him so kuch that I just recommended him.
Dr. Palmer doesn’t spend the time to actually help. He dismissed my symptoms because they don’t fit into the box of the diagnosis he gave me. He told me that my pain wasn’t caused by RA (a diagnosis he gave me) he explained that’s just my feet. He told me my pain was at an acceptable level, never asking me what I thought was acceptable.
