What a great place. My 9yr old daughter and myself were 2 days new when my daughter who was 2ft from me was confronted by eva the "professional" trainer on the gym floor that we "didnt belong there" and should leave, without asking any questions. She went on to cause a scene until I went to administrative who had to come and tell her to calm down. She continued to talk trash about me to her client and other members on the gym floor. This used to be the best gym in town and the best YMCA. However, the hot tub is not hot at all and the Jets have absolutely no power leaving members without pain relief. It's simply not therapeutic at all. Staff claims but the hot tub is 104°, however for the most part whatever the control room may say that is a totally different story then what the hot tub temperature is. Staff needs to purchase a digital thermometer like the other locations and point it directly at the water to determine the accurate temperature. Though th... read more
I absolutely loved my visit to Chocolate Emporium in St. Armands! I’m a big chocolate lover, so I was definitely excited to try some of their truffles. I tried the dark chocolate almond clusters, the banana pudding truffle, and the dark chocolate cherry truffle, and I honestly loved them all! The banana pudding truffle was such a fun surprise, and the dark chocolate cherry was so delicious. It has half of a maraschino cherry inside, which makes every bite even more special!
