This hospital is terrible. Doctor Palmer never returns your call. She also said that our loved one will be evaluated first with no meds so that they can see his unaltered mental state. However, every time we spoke to the nurses they said he was taking his meds everyday. When we ask what meds they wouldn’t tell me. Keeps you in involuntary AG so she can make money for the hospital. Asks weird questions and prescribes wrong drugs for wrong diagnosis of mental disorders. I have a Valium addiction and diagnosed with schizophrenia. Constantly asks if I'm going to kill my family and other weird made up stories and keeps you in that New Bridge Unit AG for no legitimate reason. This is a bad doctor. Do not answer her questions and do not take her medications. She will ruin you.
Neglectful doctor.
I was in unit AG on last summer for my schizophrenia symptoms. It was very serious and sad moment in my life. I had a full blown schizophrenia and was obsessed to opposite sex. This strong obsession was one of the symptoms of having schizophrenia. At the beginning she was very mean to me and wanted to hold me in Bergen Regional Medical Center, block G against my own will, which I did not like at all. She told me, "No, but I do think you need to stay." Which made absolutely no sense to me, it's as if she didn't give me my own choice, it's my body, my life, I am FREE to leave whenever I WANT and NEED to leave, you CAN NOT HOLD A HUMAN BEING THERE AGAINST THEIR OWN WILL.
