Do NOT entrust your loved ones to this facility. The lack of care and communication was frustrating and disappointing. We were looking for help for my daughter and received none. This place sucked!! My psychiatrist threatened my family with court for wanting a 5-day plan because I was already showing huge signs of improvement. There was only one nurse who was actually nice to me. The staff also made me take medicine on an empty stomach knowing i would throw up. One of the night staff took a pillow that I had because another staff member gave me for my neck and back pain. I would rate this place a typical Lowell state funded program. My daughter attended and referred to it as a 10 day vacation from school . During her stay another kid was smoking weed in the bathroom. The cherry on top is the homeless people across the street you see each morning.

Lab tech Clare and manager Stacywere great. They we efficient, professional and very cari g. I was in and out in no time. The facility is very clean and everyone made me feel like family

Find someplace else. First of all the food was the worst. I’ve never eaten more hotdogs in my life. Horrible. Then they lock your room and make you stay in a day room till 6 at night. Loud, crowded room. Some of the classes were good, but that’s about all. Some of the nurses were fantastic and some looked at you like you were dirt. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. The only saving grace was the people who were in there when I was.Made some friends.

i was a patient there once in 2023 and another in 2024 in 2024 i was there for a week and they separated the girl and the boys in the teen unit but thats not what im worried about im worried is that they dont seem to care about there patients there i was there 2 times and when i got out i was good for like a week then it all downhill all at once and the short time we have to call our parents is dumb some kids dont want to thats fine but honestly i dont think they really get how bad they treat us there like we are teens were ... read more

One of the worst adolescent psychiatric inpatient facilities you can have your child in. Speaking as a psychiatric nurse for an adult inpatient facility, this place is HORRIBLE. Mental health is serious so when my daughter was admitted for behavioral issues, this place was where she was sent. My daughter was transferred here around 1 in the morning Monday from the ER.
