I came in for a week & if it wasn't for Albert Reed, I didn't know where I would've been. With calm & grace ,the way he interacted me made me want 2 go on with a 28 day program, cas I want 2 live 2day.Thanks 2 Caron Unanks, she don't know how she inspired me 2 go & not go home. People doesn't realize what PIW does 4 us. Thanks PIW 4 excepting me again after 13 years. Uall helped save my life. Y'all get a 10 from Robin S. Arrington-Bey.

This is a very dangerous and extremely unsafe place to work and to be at as a patient. The higher ups do not value human lives. The nurses are justified at being paid tech wages and who knows what the techs are paid. Many employees were short paychecks. Management also willingly allows violence from patients to staff and turns a blind eye to safety everyday.

My son is currently at this facility having arrived early this morning. Four hours in the waiting room and then taken to a room in the Veterans section. It had bed. The plus side – there was a mattress. Baker Acted, he states the place is filthy and smells like urine. My son spent six years in the military and another four in the reserves. Absolutely a NIGHTMARE , with post-traumatic stress disorder !!!! I checked in because I was having an ADRINALIN storm, I am a very active individual thrives on being and staying busy. I had a partner commit suicide, my business burnt to the ground, i lost my mother and father in the same time frame...... Cumberland hall didn't care. they never diagnosed me, Treated me like worse than an ANIMAL. They never listen to you, only to usher you to their pre cookie cutter programs!!! Our child is currently at this facility and the entire staff is extremely rude! Our daughter was attacked by another patient there, and they never notified us of the attack until two days later. A nurse called our phone at midnight (a day after) when most people are in bed sleeping and left a voicemail of an 'incident' that happened involving our daughter. i would give 0 stars if possible. i was a patient there twice, once in 2022 from October to November and the other time in 2023. both times were three weeks. the first i will say was okay. the other patients were nice and the food was okay but i was 13 so i was pretty scared. there was a time were a room mate tried hurting them self when i woke up, that was scary. some of the staff though were rude and disrespectful and my experience overall was shitty. there was also a time where before dinner and female staff member was ba... read more

Well, my first visit to Bellaire Behavioral Health location was pleasant, the front desk receptionist Ms. Shelia, has a beautiful personality. Despite bump rush of visiting family members withing to visit their loved ones, the patient and calmness Ms. Shelia exemplifies as receptionist with premier customer services. The type of front desk service every business would love to have.

Do not send anyone you care about to this facility if they are struggling with depression, anxiety, or any difficult life situation. This place will push them in the opposite direction of where they need to be. If they find out you have good insurance, be prepared for them to severely restrict contact with family and hold your loved one as long as they can, right up until the last day they’re legally allowed.
