Cedar Springs helped me be the man I am becoming. I came to the hospital a few months back because I was having a mental breakdown and was feeling suicidal.. I knew that I needed more help so I reached out, and I am glad I did. I stayed for a few days and was cared for by every one who crossed my path, they took great care of me. They messed up my meds, but they were affirming and welcoming towards transgender patients. I'm one of them, so I can say from experience. They did some constructive meetings, check-ins, and safety planning. They made sure I wasn't in a bad place before they discharged me. I left with a frown because I hadn't felt so cared for by a hospital, and was sad to leave. Had Mexican food afterwards. Speaking of, there food is GOOD!!!

The nurses in the ICU 5th floor are some of the most unreliable lying nurses I have ever encountered,,, besides being arrogant they are ALL LIARS,,, even after the head managing director of nurses gave an order the nurses all lied and refused to do what she said,,, unbelievable !!! Head hospital officers should look into this sad situation all the nurses should be reviewed and put on a 90 day suspension.. does anyone know a good lawyer that is looking for a case against them... nough said, but I'm serious...

My family member was there at Gulfport Behavioral Health, Tina crane went above and beyond what was required and showed us all dignity and compassion.  We cannot speak highly enough about her! She took the time to listen to us and our concerns because this experience was new to my family. She was reassuring and comforting to us. If services are needed again, we will not hesitate to return to Gulfport Behavioral Health.

if i could put a zero i would... this place is no help and i would never recommend it to my worst enemy. i got fought everyday and the staff never broke up fights so i had to suffer with no medical help. there was disturbing things written on the wall, the staff said insulting thigs to the paitents refering to ms.carrlette. and others, the staffed cursed at the kids, they are verry racist, there are roaches and bed bugs, and i most definitley want to say this place did no help for me it just made things a lot worse! please d... read more

i love the staff at light house they were so helpful nd caring thank you to ms.christy,ms.ebony,ms.alicia.ms.tiffany nd the twins the help me through out my whole treatmeant the food was good they always made sure you ate no matter what and if you were feeling down they would be willing to talk to you about anything nd give you postive feedback

My caring colleagues and I worked there for years until we got beat up by patients and management - including Craig Hilton Linda Gray Melissa Zinni and Mike Stewart (list goes on) - did nothing, it’s a death trap disguised as a mental health facility.
