I spent 3 and a half months at palm shores. my experience wasn't all bad but not the best either. most of the staff were petty and instigated most of the fights and drama on the units. the staff that i thought were amazing is ms. tracy, ms. bb, ms. cherise, ms. macy, ms. brenda, ms. laurel, ms. z, ms. mailey, ms. lexi, ms.emma, ms. allyson and ms. precious. they made sure everything was good on the unit and with the kids and made sure nothing happened. unlike ms. cheryl and ms. kerin, they took the steps to help and do what ... read more

For my stay at palm shores behavioral health center it was neither good or bad parts for my stay however there are bad parts that lead to good things. I would like to shout a few people out for helping me through tough moments and has always knew I had good Intentions. They love to take your/your insurance money but there is ZERO follow up. My son was discharged when he made the slightest improvement. He told his therapist he wasnt ready to go home. Told his psychiatrist he wasn't ready, but after his minimal improvement we had 3 days to go and collect my son before we incurred a daily fee to keep him there. He came home on a Saturday and by Monday I was emailing and calling them to see if they would readmit him. I called at least 10 times- the main phone number, his therapist... NOBODY go... read more

From my stay at Palm Shores, it was eventful in many ways, I am proud for completing my treatment. I have few people I want to give thanks there for helping me push through, My therapist, Miss. Lindsey, I wouldn't have been able to see things through and work on myself without her. I also appreciate Miss. Sophie for being so kind and understanding to me. Hello... It's Dekotaa... :) I was at Palm Shores three times and to be honest, after years of reflecting, this was a good place to be at, and yet I didn't take the help. I am turning 18 soon, and I'll say that while I was here, I learned many lessons and things about myself. I was taught that I don't always have to explain myself, and that two truths can be in the same situation.
