I'm kris p. I currently go to palm shores. I love it all the staff are wonderful and help so much. They hugely care and stick their necks out to help the kids no matter how hard. Shout outs: Ms. Sophie: she is currently a college student and is one of the best staff in all the facilities i have been in, she cares deeply for the kids and has hugely stuck her neck out for me and all of lido. i was admitted to this facility on 12/3/2024 and discharged AMA 12/12/2024 in my experience here palm shores is NOT a mental health facility, it is more what is similar of a juvenile detention center. i understand there has to be rules put in place in a facility like this, however there are limitations between discipline and staff abusing their power. personally, i had no issues with getting in trouble but witnessed many others. there was so many issues between the other children fighting both verbally and physically and in ... read more
Review from my son : Thank you to the staff at Palm shores, this facility really did help me with anger issues, depression, anxiety. I want to mention some awesome staff: Miss Jessie: Ms. Jessie helped me a lot, she is an amazing therapist that cares a lot and is there to help. Miss Sophia: This staff member was very helpful, if I ever had a bad family session she would always be there to talk to me, and encourage me to use coping skills and do better.
