Restaurant ranges from loud to very loud. If you are into high energy, this is the spot. A Washington Classic with cool caricatures on the wall. A bit pricey, nice wine list, menu is standard steakhouse with great salads and sides. Cool and snobby in a 'who's your daddy?' kind of way.
We had really great service and our food was pretty good too. However, maybe it's just me, but if I'm paying $150 (for 2) I want hoity toity with nice decor. It seemed more like an overpriced pub to me. Also, it would definitely not be the place for a romantic dinner since the chatter level is a 9.
I started dining at "The Palm" in 1972 in Washington DC. I have loved it ever since and now live in California and enjoy the one On Santa Moncia Blvd. They have the best steaks possible and the Lobster, that my husband eats looks delicious. I am alergic to seafood so...... I really love what I call the "Palm Fries" too. Sandra
