I was diagnosed with Lymphoma in June of 2025. I started my immunotherapy treatment in July. After the 2nd of 6 sessions the IV steroids were negatively impacting my mental health (my anxiety was through the roof). Dr. Torka not only listened to my concerns but she "immediately" adjusted the treatment process and I was able to complete my 6 sessions without sacrificing my psychological well being. Dr. Torka is a wonderful physician. She treats both my parents for their lymphoma and she’s extremely knowledgeable, warm, patient, and supportive. She never rushes us; she takes the time to answer all our questions, and she coordinates care with our other docs both within MSK and outside of MSK. I often “attend” the appointments virtually (by phone) and Dr. Torka treats me as if I were in the room with my parents.
