Maintenance services are poor. Sidewalks were not cleared a day after the snowstorm, making it difficult for residents, especially the elderly, to leave their apartments. Snow was poorly plowed by maintenance staff, blocking cars, garages, and handicapped spaces in the parking lot. Additionally, the heater is insufficient and malfunctioning, turning on and off during freezing temperatures.
I made a mistake by renting an apartment without viewing it. They rent out their apartments before the previous tenant moves out, so you can’t see the unit before signing the lease. They advertise upscale apartments, but not every apartment looks like their online photos. I was disappointed to see an outdated kitchen with limited cabinet space and old air conditioners. I wouldn’t recommend renting an apartment here.
Do not move in in apt 4 on the first floor at 311 Mohegan way. The radiator noise is too hard to describe, you won’t sleep a single night there. Absolutely useless talking to the property manager and the manager above him, they will not solve the problem but will try to make you pay even if it’s physically impossible to live there. The building is nice, and so is the building supervisor, Gabe. Unfortunately, he doesn't have qualified people working in this 160 + door apartment complex. Work orders called on Friday won't be done until the following week. No one comes during the weekend to fix something. There's no quality in the work they do. When they come to your apartment, workers don't take off their shoes or wear shoe covers. If it is raining or snowing outside, expect wet and dirty shoes in and out of your apartment.
