SHAME ON YOU Pali Momi Medical Center ICU staff and visitation policies. My family went through one of the hardest moments of our lives while my mother was on her deathbed, and instead of compassion, we were met with rigid rules and no flexibility. Shame on you Pali Momi ICU, where was the Aloha when our family needed it most?! My family member is actively dying, already coded once, is imminent with death and you kept my family out from being with our loved one at his time of death. Why, because everyone has to be out during shift report and rounding?! God forbid anyone has to be called home to meet their maker between the hours of 7p-9p!!
