Something has changed..... HI, something's changed! I like going here now! My brother went in here years ago and got turned away for the repair issue. I hadn't gone till recently when I thought I'd try it again. They are one of very few repair shops and I have friends who have gone here. This time the service was excellent, quiet, calm, helpful and they fixed whatever was wrong with it. I will be back . I recommend this place now.

Super busy shop, great repair work I had a snowblower I took in there that wasn't running well. Not sure of the details of it since I am not a mechanic. The old lady was quiet and stayed focused on the paperwork. There are three repair men that work there. Im' not sure which one fixed it, but it works like a charm. It's so nice to be able to yank on the cord with one pull and here the engine start strong and stay strong and run well. Especially when it gets cold outside. Terrible Service and Repair I took my Toro mower for repairs as it would not start. The woman I spoke to was disrespectful and disorganized. They picked up my mower and after 1 week called them to ask when it would be finished. After another week it was said to be fixed at a cost of $429. Worked fr 1 month and now will not start. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!

Do not visit Palatine Lawn and Mower They promised sharpening of tools and return in a timely manner (promised next week). It took constant phone calls to get my equipment back in 3 weeks. They first week they could not even verify if my stuff went to the shop they used for sharpening. I got the distinct impression that they did not care about my business. I also noticed that their used equipment was way over priced as I had been recently looking for a used lawnmower.

Rude Customer Service Not very friendly. I'm still waiting for "the call" that my mower is ready for pickup. I don't think they really care about the customer or the customer's property. We'll see what kind of issues I run in to when I do receive "the call"

Cheat My neighbor took her snow blower to them when I was out of town. They told her it needed a new engine for $1500. She said no. When I went to pick up the blower they couldnt find it. After 2 weeks of phone calls I got it back for her. All it need was a new $40 dollar bearing. This place sucks and the phone person is rude.

They did OK by me Have a power washer with a Robbins engine. Blew the oil breather tube off it and also needed a new air filter element. No one else could help me get the parts, especially the filter element. The guy there got me the parts. Took a long time but he got them. I'll never buy anything unless is has a well known engine (like Briggs & Stratton). Avoid Robbins engines at all cost. Not the cleanest place but they did OK by me....

Don't back up their service They do not back up their work. Palatine Lawn Mower replaced a carburetor for $92.60 on 2 year-old mower that failed within 60 days. The rude woman at the service counter said they would have to charge me full rate to look at the mower again because it had been longer than 30 days. She also assumed I had damaged the machine. RUDE This place is very RUDE and unprofessional! Avoid at all costs! Very common parts are not stocked and the telephone service is much to be desired! They treat you as if you were bothering them! Louise is not good for the phones!
