Living in a small town with a living, breathing spot on informative newspaper is a treasure! The Beacon shares stories on our high school football games, recipes from neighbors, updates from our police department, what time Santa Claus will appear on the shrimp boat, where to stay, what to eat, how the Sanford Community Center is progressing, photos from events and reminds me why local newspapers matter! Very grateful to Ryan and Brandi West for all they do to let the world know why Palacios matters.
