Our waitress was condescending and passive aggressive about drink choices that were on the menu to begin with. We have guests with us who are new to Seattle and after this encounter, they are re-thinking the whole Seattle vibe. It is just not a good idea to treat guests who visit your establishment like it is a privilege for you to serve them. Dissapointed. Had planned for dinner as well however we all changed our minds. There were 5 of us. 1 salmon, 2 burgers, 2 steaks. Salmon was wonderful, burgers were nothing exceptional, and the steaks were tough and chewy. With 4 beers, 3 glasses of wine and 1 well drink the cost was almost $400.00. If the food would have been great or something original and new, okay maybe worth it, but I've had better at other steak and seafood houses around Seattle and the eastside. Service was fantastic, can't say enough and I didn't mind the 20% gratuity and higher tax.
I make it a point to order something new each time, and I'm never disappointed. Amazing eats, great ambience, awesome waitstaff!
