This historical lodge is a must. Charm, property and views. Riley, in the main lodge, is a true gem...lovely young man. Adil, has the most inviting smile and wants to do whatever he can to make your stay enjoyable. The pub has phenomenal food and an amazing happy hour menu... but make sure you ask for Lisa.. she's amazing.
Just spent 4 nights in an oceanfront room while we explored the area. The room was large, clean and comfortable. (We understand rooms are being renovated and are excited to return and check them out). The service and food in Painters Bar & Grill was excellent.
What an incredible time my partner and I had at Painters! Great time!! Absolutely wonderful service by an amazing server, amazing food and drinks! The view is crazy, crazy impeccable!!!
Loved the view from our room!! But we could hear the person above us walking/stomping every 10 min, we didn't say anything ,, they are in the process of renovating, we had a problem with tiny ants that showed up a couple every few hours on the desk VERY THANKFUL to the woman in the restaurant with blond hair who served us breakfast! She gave us a few ideas on trails and a restaurant as we headed to Victoria . You can't beat the views from our room
Great was very peaceful and clean great rate everything felt very safe really enjoyed 5 days
