If I could leave negative stars, I would. An absolute joke. Currently a patient at TGH. I told them what I had been taking for pain prior to admission. Came in in increased pain...they give me a dose LESS than what I was taking. And REFUSED to make any changes. Will not allow hospitalist to make any changes. So your patients sit here in pain. They come into your room daily(gotta keep the billing up) and completely ignore what the patient is saying. Its a sick joke. I think the care at TGH is terrific...but until the pain man... read more
I’m an inpatient at Tampa General hospital with severe chest and thoracic pain. My nurse has tried to get a hold of them multiple times and they still have not given her anything take cut this pain. Jessica one of the assistance is not that helpful considering the fact that she changed the medications that were working for me in the beginning. Unable to speak to a nurse same day. Must wait for callback 24 hours or later, if at all. Made several follow-up calls to have information submitted to insurance company after insurance company requested twice. Will not return calls. Also, unprepared to receive 2 bills for the same office visit - one from TGH and one from USF. This was a telehealth visit, which disconnected early. Consult was not completed. Unable to determine if doctor was at TGH or USF. Be prepared for double billing and not receiving follow-up calls. No r... read more
Only interested in collecting mega bucks. Not interested in truly helping the patient. Sends patient to other specialists but gets angry when they send patient back with information she doesn't want to deal with. One USF specialist directly stated that she wasn't doing enough.
