I don’t trust Dr. Anderson’s professional judgement. He is quick to prescribe stiff doses of opioids, but is not a good communicator.

I was refered to this operation by another back surgeon in Salem. I completed the paper work that was sent to my home and answed questions when they called to confirm my appointment. I checked in their office 10 minutes early and had more paper work to complete. After waiting 30 minutes past my appointment, I asked how much longer would I have to wait which provoked a doctor who I wasn't to see. That set both of us off. I walked out. Unprofessional and disrespectful. After my initial appointment lasting 2 hours and 20 minutes 75% of this time was spent waiting and then “trying” to communicate over the phone with various staff regarding care and how to proceed, I cancelled the scheduled procedure. I would rather deal with pain a little longer than this office. Not only did staff and doctor talk bad about my previous doctor and my insurance company; they did not seem interested in listening to me, reviewing my history or my pain relief.
