First, I love Daniel Levin, PA-C. I am a man with severe fibromyalgia that is treatment resistant. Five stars don't do it! Dr. Caleb Kroll, super-efficient and kind Mary, and everyone in the DC office is skilled and extra welcoming. I have lumbar spinal stenosis, and with the first episode I was in bed with strong pain killers for nearly a month. Then, two years later when I again needed help, I was introduced to Dr. Kroll whose work has been magical. Yuliya Shifrin, LAc, MSA is an absolutely amazing acupuncturist with the Pain Management Institute in Bethesda, Maryland! I highly recommend her care. I have a pinched nerve at L4/L5, and her targeted treatments have significantly subdued the numbness in my lower leg and feet, while also easing the pain in my hands and arms. After receiving a referral from my orthopedic doctor, I came here in severe pain, but I left feeling hopeful. Daniel was incredibly compassionate and empathetic. He listened to my concerns patiently and made me feel heard. He was also very professional—he had carefully reviewed my MRI before my appointment, clearly explained the treatment plan, and even discussed my case with Dr. Kroll while I was there. Dr. Caleb Kroll is a highly skilled doctor and communicates well with his patients. He takes his time with you and gets the details right. The staff in the Bethesda office of the Pain Management Institute are all excellent, and I've also seen Dr. Babak Arvanaghi there, and he is an excellent, patient diagnostician and doctor as well. Overall, I believe this is the premiere pain management practice in the greater DC area.
