Dr. Berg is arrogant and condescending with a God complex. However, if you question or disagree with him, he becomes hostile and acts like a spoiled child.

Dr. Berg is a very caring physician. He took very good care in helping me with back pain. I refer other people to him as well. Excellent care and friendly atmosphere. Kathy W.

My daughter just told me about these reviews, My experience with Dr Berg has grown very caring since seeing him over a year, at first I was not sure of him and he was not sure of me. I have worked with a lot of doctors (as an I.T. vendor) and Dr. Berg is among the best I have met. I am new to Louisville so I have no bias. Wait? sometimes, but they tell you up-front you might have to wait at times (they do procedures and not all go quickly). I've not really had to wait, though. He was VERY thorough in reviewing my intake forms and talked to me for at least 30 min to understand the problem. Dr. Berg has done a superb job of managing my pain due to 8 bulging discs in my neck and lower back. I would recommend him to anyone with chronic pain! Those who don't like him are most likely the ones that are pain medicine addicts. He won't give it to you unless you need it.

I have been a patient for a long time of this fine doctor. The people that are not happy with his care are generally the ones that cannot get the amount of pain pills they think they need. This doctor will be totally honest with his patients even if they do not like what they hear. He is very strict about potentially harmful medications and feels that he must not only protect his patients but the community. Wait time is very long, I have never been in the office less than 3 hours. He does not listen to me or read reports from my other docters. Became very defensive when I did not want trigger point injections in my back (due to medical issues). Staff is nice, but he is very cold and unfeeling. I would be afraid to sign this based on other reviews I have read and I am currently waiting to get in to see another MD. I could see him refusing to fill medicine since I am changing docters.

Dr Berg came highly recommended and I have been seeing him for over 2 years. He has done an excellent job of helping me control lower back pain and chronic migraines. With out his treatments I had pain every day. I have recommended him to several people my self that are all very pleased with his services. I am thankful that I have found someone who can help me keep pain under conrol.
