First visit to this clinic. Doctor makes me wait around for an hour while my mom is At home sick. I asked her, What’s going on that she’s an hour late? She tells me that she was on lunch. Dr. Akef is a horrible doctor. He evaluates you for 3 seconds and then assumes he knows everything about you. He continually pushed me to have injections at every appointment, but I told him I wasn't ready to go that route and wanted to try alternative treatments first. On my last appointment with him, he prescribed a new medication to me, and then discharged me back to my family physician without even having a follow up appointment to see how I was reacting. Would not recommend this location. It was hard enough having them receive my referral. They kept saying they didn't get anything. Then it took a month just to get an on the phone appointment. The nurse called me over an hour AFTER my appointment time. Which I missed and now I haven't heard back from them.
